really like the card tonite:
Utah State -14 (Cal Poly): USU has been kicking ass and taking names - especially at home where they are smoking teams much better than Poly. USU is 11-0 at home and poly is 2-6 and the las 4 times these 2 met in logan - the closest score was 14 - with the other 3 games being 20+ point wins. USU is ranked in the T25 in 1 poll and that will fire them up even more. USU has UCSB saturday but we won't get a look ahead here. USU by at least 20.
Irvine -1 (Pacific): don't trust irvine - but pacific on the road i trust even less. at some point in time Irvine will wake up and play a good game. it had better be tonite for their sake and i think it will.
Long Beach +105 M/L (over Northridge): CSUN is the better team - but not on the road where they are a pathetic 1-8 with that only win against my fullerton titans, 61-55, in a game both teams tried to give away - but fullerton tried harder - and eventually "succeeded." northridge suspended 3 players for the rest of the year. long beach will come to play and win this one - or more appropriately - northridge will lose this one.
UCSB -2 -120 (Idaho): i NEVER lay -2.5 always buying down to -2 -120. of all 4 picks - this is the weakest of the 4 - and is more of a "lean" than anything else. idaho is TOUGH at home and plays close games. for me - the better play is U120 for these 2 haven't gotten anywhere close in 2 of the last 4 meetings and all 4 have stayed well below 120. i can see this one being a 58-55ish kind of game.
